hi, my calfornia banded kingsnake is a great eater but seems to have difficultie locating his prey, if a dangle the mouse he sometimes shoots right past it occassionally biting himself its asif he knows its there but cant focus on it and he gets himself into abit of a freenzy. Is this normal

Ozzy does that too XD after there is no mouse and he's eaten he will suddly jump and bite himself XD |

thanx for your replies im happy with the frenzzie.I just had to ask when my other snakes are all normally bang on target though one wonders how many of their pray escape from them out in the wild lol. |

Both mine do too, I have put it down the them being thick though. Although Kehhlyr is probably closer to the answer |

I would most certainly hope it is, as I have 2 others that do the same thing. A cali king and a mex black king.
I've always put it down to the feeding frenzy the kings go in. |
