Posted - 06/06/2011 : 17:15:14 Hi, got a cali banded king, oct 10 hatch, about a month ago she regurged her fuzzy after 4 days
so, i left her 10 days and she ate fine, the next feed, the same thing. i leave her 14 days, and now am feeding her 1 pinkie a feed, just so she keeps it down, last feed she regurged after 2 hours. so have lefter for another 10 days
any other ideas what i could do? she is drinking fine, and dead nosy constanty out and about. doesnt try and bite me as she used to when being handled lol. shes not lathargic at all, took her to the vets, he said she looks fine, lost a cpl of grams in weight, but not anorexic
vet told me to turn the stat up on her heat mat, and just do as im doing, giving it 10 days a feed |

Posted - 26/06/2011 : 16:42:18 just wanted to let everyone know
my little king whos been regurging, has now kept three meals down (after cutting up a pinkie) gave her just the head first meal, then second was the body of the pink, cut up, third meal was 1 pink cut in two
she is getting repteboost in her water every other day, and has started to poop properly again too, had her poop checked, no paracites, so onwards and upward
thanks everyone for your help and support xxxx |

Posted - 15/06/2011 : 09:53:16 Hi Gmac she kept last weeks down fine, and pooping fine, black/white normal poop viv ive moved to the bedroom area (am in a studio flat), but its dark and quiet for her. heat on the warm side is 30/32deg, cool end is room temp. This flat does get hot in the summer, so i have an aircon unit on, but its no where near her to get the cold blast she was on top of the viv of my corn snake and was fine up until a month ago when she regurged her small fuzzy. just to make sure ive thrown away all the fuzzies and bought new, so no frost bite or anything on them.
she is drinking fine, but she has lost weight, as even a pinkie now is leaving a bumb in her. vet said there doesnt seem to be a parasite problem, and i woudlnt understand how it was if it is, as i clean everything spotless and surley my corn would of had trouble too?
ive covered 3 sides of her faun to keep her nice and quiet
thanks for your help G xx
am feeding her a pinkie a feed at the moment, and leaving it 10 days between feeds |

Posted - 14/06/2011 : 20:32:48 not good. can you give us a rundown on the setup, temps and when you are feeding timewise, where the faun / viv is located, and is she going toilet
Am also just wondering if there is a health issue with her that is causing this.
Wait the ten days but keep giving the reptoboost though, and feed a smaller prey item than she normally has. Would say keep a fecal sample for a check but you wont have any.
edit: did she keep last weeks down ok?

Posted - 07/06/2011 : 20:10:35 would let her have a fair few, about a month just to let her get used to keeping food down again. |

have covered 3 sides of her faun too, she seems lot more settled, once she starts to keep her single pinkies down, how long should i waight to go up to 2 pinkies and so on
just dont want the poor thing stressed out again,
apart from the regurge, shes fine, nosy, feisty lol |

Posted - 06/06/2011 : 19:13:07 give it 10-14 days as you are doing, the temps can go up a bit 31-33 is ok for kings.
I would also add some reptoboost into her water to help pep her up a bit. |
