The other day I heard a clicking sound while My Mexican milk was eating. Today he has a drink when I was putting him back in his viv and he was making the same noise. Now I may be imagining it or putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5 due to my Royal being ill, but does this sound like an RI?

I've already got him an appointment with the vet, though the earliest I could get is this coming Saturday.

If a snake has an RI will it sit with it's mouth open for an extended period of time, or will it just open and close it occasionally?

I was at the vets today and there's no sign of anything untoward.

My little Royal had to be put to sleep though :(
