My King snake has started biting itself, we have recently rehoused it as the viv it was in was very old, he is now on Aspen as opposed to the wood chip he was on before. Could it be the change of housing or bedding? he is now drawing blood on himself and I can't stop him from doing it over and over again. Help!!!!!

I would also check for mites. Sometimes the mites can irritate them and then they bite like we would scratch.
