For those of you that don't know, my wife is pregnant and due to give birth on the 20th October.
This morning I was just about to leave for work when my wife let one of the cats out then said 'ooh, I think my waters have just broken' and rushed to the bathroom.
I phoned the hospital and they said to come in at midday to get checked out. In the meantime I was grabbing the bags and maternity notes and making sure everything was ready. We got to the hospital and Nichola was told to lay on the bed for an hour. One hour later the midwife came back and inspected her and confirmed that her waters had broken and sent us home.
Tomorrow morning we are going back and Nichola will be induced. I'm going to be a Daddy!    |
