Posted - 14/07/2009 : 09:11:14 I went to my pain management physio session yesterday and when the physio started talking about pain pathways and the fact that the spinal cord is the first "gateway" then the brain is the place where all the pain and senses are processed, and I said yes, like a cpu, and she said, "a what?" and I said "a CPU, Central Processing Unit in a computer, it's the brain of the PC" and she was like "woah woah woah, I know NOTHING about computers, you got me there"... I laughed, I shouldn't have laughed, but I found it so funny that she knew absolutely NOTHING about computers. In this day and age? lol
Sorry, I just found it funny and thought I would share... |

Posted - 15/07/2009 : 16:34:29 Some of the teachers I work with are useless with computers. One of them shuts the whole computer down after she has finished using it because she hasn't realised yet that you can just log off so that the next person doesn't have to boot up again! And yes, I have told her but she seems to have forgotten again! |
