Both look like good buys!

I've just ordered one of Amazon - something about reptile diseases. That was a bargain too- 56p plus P&P

I have the book first mentioned and:

The General Care and Maintenance of Milk Snakes by Robert Applegate from the Herpetocultural Library Published by Advanced Vivarium Systems. It's a yankee book but very useful nevertheless :)

what does t.f.h stand for?
Kazerella Posted - 13/07/2009 : 15:05:36
I might add a few of those if I get around to it later - milksnake books are harder to come by I've noticed.

I think the two books in the reccomended readings arn't the best in my opinion, I have every Kingsnake and Milksnake book available as far as I'm aware. This is my list. Starting with the most reccomended;

Book Title Author/s & Publisher

Kingsnake and Milksnakes - A complete Pet Owner's Manual Markel and Barlett - BARRON'S

Kingsnakes & Milksnakes In Captivity Robert Applegate - PROFESSIONAL BREEDERS SERIES

Kingsnake & Milk Snakes J. E. Smith - T.F.H

Milksnakes and Tricolored Kingsnakes R.D & Patrcia Barlett - BARRONS

King & Milk Snakes Adam Black - T.F.H

Kingsnakes - Care & Breeding in Captivity Ronald G. Markel - T.F.H

Gray-Banded Kingsnakes - Identification, Care And Breeding Jerry G. Walls - T.F.H

Hope this helps.

Scott
