im gonna have an incredable reptile room though!
OMG I HELD A LEO TODAY! sooo cute! and they had little baby ones, i wanted to steal it.

It takes time PunkAs - Just take it slow - Nagini used to push us away with her body if you tried to pick her up - then she'd hiss and go for you - she gave enough warnings - which is why we weren't tagged until she tagged Kaz unexpectedly. Tartan is gorgeous btw - would have picked up a milk at the Doncaster show if I didn't get Tempo - Had me eye on a nice albino fella. |

oh yeh and Tartans starting to calm down a bit now, so Im jsut sitting outside her viv to get her used to seing me up close again, then next week imma open the door then eventually tune her back into me :) |

He was fine when feeding yesterday evening. He is just skittish and scared. He will calm down in time once he is used to being handled. So far all he has ever really known is the inside of a RUB in a stack in a shop, he's gotta get used to living in the real world now. |

i put my hand in the viv for an hour or two for a week with my cali then just picked her up and she was fine when i bought her they had to use gloves to get her out of the viv she was in |

until you feel confident use gloves, when you got the snake out, pretend your arms are like tree branches and let the snake move from one to the other, with as much free movement as possible, when changing hands alway bring the hand the snake will move to from underneath the head with slow but flowing movements, after a while the snake should calm down and not feel threatened with handeling,also try to learn to read your snakes body language and work out how it will react.

He's had another go at eating me this evening during his photoshoot. I guess my fingers are on the menu tonight!! Apparently he is due a feed today but I am not going to give him his fuzzy until tomorrow. He is only 14 weeks old and already on fuzzies. He loves his food I guess, just like me  |

Yes milks and Kings - They're too similar to have a separate site just for milks  Welcome to the Forum - Good job you've held onto Taran! If I were you I'd never get rid of her... just try and tame her a bit (saddleninja's the man to ask on taming feisty snakes) |

Don't blame me!  It's probably not going to go live as quick as the royal did. I need to get the rest of the site sorted out first and the care sheets alone will take some writing - even getting photos of each type of king will take some time as you can't just steal them from the internet. Will be a good site in the end though I hope. |
