Hi guys hope everyone had a great Christmas, the reason for this post is this. I'm going away tomorrow for a week and the last feed I gave Snoop was a few days ago. I didnt want to feed him before I went is this ok? Also I have got someone to ckeck on him who has experience of handling snakes(corns)to change his water, I'm just worried that he might shed while I'm away. What advice should I give him if this occurs and if anyone can think of anything I've missed to let me know thanks guys, your help would be much appreciated

Royals can miss a feed and be fine too, as long as it doesn't happen too often.

Royals will usually shed ok too, but you need a damp hide in there really. Evra sheds well 99% of the time, but she had a bad shed once that would have been worse if I had not been there to sort her out.

Where do you live again? I'm sure we could find a snake sitter.

Shedding should be fine too. Kings are usually good shedders so it should be a smooth operation. Just remove the skin a.s.a.p when you get back, unless the water changer doesn't mind getting it out for you.

awesome news cos that means ziggy will be fine when we go on our surfing trips - just a quicky off kings - can you leave royals the same too?

Lewy only had a cold- but because of his sex he got the deadly man-flu version

Hope everyone is feeling better. There has been loads about this year. It's awful to be ill over Christmas (and birthdays Darren).

Hope Wendy is alright for her operation Grumpy!

There's been a lot of it about, along with the unseasonal weather. I had headaches, tiredness and a sore throat/cough, now Wendy's got it - and she's due an operation soon, pre op next week!
