i live in a gated community near Tucson. we have a big pack rat problem. we can't put out poison due to pets. my neighbors kill, out of fear, the rare rattlers that come around. would it be feasible to purchase and free king snakes (or others) and let them go wild to control the rat population?
i do not advocate cruelty to snakes by doing so.
if it is feasible to do so can you recommend where i can get the snakes?
i'm not interested in snakes for pets.
thank you

My only input would be to buy a few cats and let them out!

:)

Im sorry but i dont realy think that this can be answered here as this is a pet forum plus i thick that adult rats would be too big for most kings to eat.
