Hi, would really appreciate some advice, my 2yr old king has not fed since 9th may [ 4 wks] I have wasted around 7 mice so far, tried taking him out rearranging his housing, putting mouse in and he sniffs it and turns away, tried splitting the head of the mouse and still no interest, he constantly wants out, very active and very tame, last shed on 8th may.

I would try what Lee sugeests first, but if that doesn't work then maybe try him with a rat pup. Sylar simply stopped eating mice a couple of years ago and nothing I did would get him feeding, until I tried a rat pup which he struck for straight away. He's never eatren a mouse since, although I have tried him several times, but strikes for rats.

All the fuss has probably upset him more, just leave him alone for a week or 2 apart from changing the water,he probably just wants to breed and has gone off his food,as long as he is not losing weight i would not worry, they can go along time without food.
