Looking at the pictures, He doesn't look as old as I thought he was from the Video. I think the video made the Orange to have plenty of Black tippings, But from the pictures. I'd agree with the shop owner and go with a CB07-Cb08. Mexican's Only reach 2ft, So thats him fullygrown.
Sorry for late reply mate.

No probs at all. Cheers for the reply!
Just out of interest, at his age what do you think he should be eating? The shop where I got him said he was on small mice. However for the first 8 weeks I had him he refused all feeds. The guy I brought him to in Belfast got him feeding on rat pup's which I continued with since, along with the odd fuzzy that I had lying around. Last night he also had a fluff mouse. He ate it no problem. That's the first time I've seen a proper bulge in him after a feed! Did I give him too much last night? I had a quick check this morning and he doesn't seem to have brought any of it back up. |

Posted - 13/07/2009 : 14:23:58 I have nothing of him from above, but I have these pics......

I also have these other 2 video's if they are any help to you........
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jplshcdu6nk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4Z4kU2S0J8
Another shop owner who has been a massive help to me says that judging by his feeding he could be around 1 year old.
Edit.....I did have a picture of him from above alongside a ruler, so that I could use that snake measurement programme, but I seem to have deleted it. Judging by that programme he was about two feet in length. |

Posted - 13/07/2009 : 14:07:37 Hi Headlow,
From the black tipping on him/her. I would defernetly say it isn't an 2008 hatch. Probably closer to 1998 Hatch! If you could get a picture of him from above that would help things out. But from the video, I'd defernetly say he's past 5.

I got him a couple months ago, and the shop owner told me he was about 11 months old. However I have now came to despise that particular shop owner and have no idea if he told me the truth. I'm still new to this......he's the first snake I've had. Do you think he could be older? |
