Posted - 23/02/2011 : 18:07:28 We've had Vlad since Saturday and we had been told he was a fussy eater. The couple that had him before us just used to leave the fuzzies in his viv with him and leave him too it. I think more often than not he left it. My husband was keen on seeing if we could get Vlad to eat if we tried something different. As you can see in the vids he was scared of the mouse but once we left it and he had a good sniff he dug right in! Think next time we'll just put it head first in front of him. Also we think he probably could have bigger mice. We are new to snakes so not sure what would be better

Does look like the fuzzy is a little small for him, you certainly could go bigger, anything upto one and a half times his girth should do nicey. |
