Fed Mr Hisslehoff today, and these are the best pics I could get.
He's a lovely aggressive feeder, and moves to much when eating, so my useless point and click doesn't take very good pics I'm afraid.

This first one is where he constricted, then pulled the mouse out of his coils, took him a few mins to realise he didn't need to be coiled then.

He's actually got a really nice temperament, quite chilled and relaxed. Unless you have a raised arm, which is weird.
If you raise an arm or something quite big like that above/near him, he darts away for cover.

Seriously, it's like one of those beaten dogs you see in RSPCA places.

Cool! MBK's are amazing looking snakes.

He's gorgeous Kehhlyr - I'm glad you rescued him form a mucky keeper.

What's his temperament like?

I went to the exotic section of our college site and they have a Mexican black in there that is supposed to be so calm that they always get him out for kids and scared folk to handle first to get them used to snakes rather than the corns!

I don't believe it - surely there's no such thing as a sane mexi

Lol, good pic, we fed yesterday and Tony Blair managed to completely miss the mouse (as usual) twice, bit and constricted a leaf on the fake ivy instead. Seriously thinking of getting him contact lenses!
