Posted - 29/10/2008 : 13:39:58 Good idea Kaz, I would have brumated mine this year but he stopped eating very early on and if im going to brumate him i want to make sure he's in tip top condition when i do. |

Posted - 29/10/2008 : 12:33:02 We are thinking about brummating our mexi black to see if that helps. If he's not going to eat anyway, then we may as well let him have a nice rest. |

It definatley sounds familiar, it worries me after a while but dosnt seem to be an issue to him. I would think when the ambient temperature drops it triggers his hibernation response but the thing is living in england that dosnt always mean winters on the way!lol |

Posted - 28/10/2008 : 14:14:40 Thanks everyone. He's my oldest snake. He's a funny eater, will go months without food and then suddenly start eating again. aside from that he's puppy dog tame and very inquisitive! |
