Good idea Kaz, I would have brumated mine this year but he stopped eating very early on and if im going to brumate him i want to make sure he's in tip top condition when i do.

We are thinking about brummating our mexi black to see if that helps. If he's not going to eat anyway, then we may as well let him have a nice rest.

It definatley sounds familiar, it worries me after a while but dosnt seem to be an issue to him. I would think when the ambient temperature drops it triggers his hibernation response but the thing is living in england that dosnt always mean winters on the way!lol

Thanks everyone. He's my oldest snake. He's a funny eater, will go months without food and then suddenly start eating again. aside from that he's puppy dog tame and very inquisitive!
