After I got let down with the apricot pueblan milksnake, I started phoning around all the local rep shops and was told that there was a Arizona Mountain Kingsnake CB09 available for £74.95, bit more than I was willing to spend really but we decided as it was only down the road we'd have a look.

Here is my baby, she was rather skittish and peed on the shop keeper when he got me out to have a look at lol but she is a beautiful snake and slithered nicely into her new house when we got her home.

Here is the only pic we have so far.

Gives you an idea on her colouring if nothing else:

This is where she is living until she is big enough for the viv:

She has already taken up residence by burying herself in the carefresh, then popping up and slithering into the coconut hide :)

She is on 1 pinky a week at the moment.

Hope you like :) will try to get more pics when I get her box out of the viv to feed her.

I am so happy and excited :)

The midlands isn't fay Magnectic- let me know if you need a distracter

She will probably go through phases of being really active and then hiding away a lot.
Sylar is currently really active and almost constantly out and about

I meant to ask, because she's usually always out whilst in her little box, and she's still on her week of settling in time, does that mean that she will possibly be always out in the viv?

lmao you are so funny, we live in the midlands (Staffordshire) but I don't think I'll be too hasty in giving you the full address and postcode lol, it's very rare that there's no-one in anyway hahah, and you can't sneak in when we're asleep because she's 1ft away from my head when I'm lying down in bed :P heheh

so... where do you live and when is the best time to pop round when no one is likely to be in and watching over this little guy??...

Thank you, I am rather proud of her, hence all the photos lol

She is beautiful Beowulf!

Some of them are not brilliant photos compared to some people's talent but I couldn't delete them I'm afraid

She is settling in nicely and comes out regularly throughout the day to have a look around

I wish the one with her tongue out hadn't focused on her body instead of her head, that would have been such a fab shot.

Worth every penny Carol. I think you got a good deal also, You would appreciate a Hatchling Arizona over a Hatchling, Headless Chicken Pueblan anyday.

Think I paid about £75 - £80. I think you paid about the going rate, you certainly weren't ripped off
jono2411 Posted - 21/07/2009 : 12:06:02
seems like a very fair price to me
Beowulf1976 Posted - 21/07/2009 : 11:03:33
so £70 for my baby is a good investment then? I wasn't ripped off then?
