Posted - 17/07/2009 : 16:47:13 hey everyone, went to weston-super-mare today with my lady and fell inlove with a hypo tangerine honduran milk snake, with fading pattern(?). i had to buy it hehe.
pics are below, they're not the best as she's a bit wriggly at the mo and she's just been put in her new home to settle.
thanks to angharad (girlharry) for the pics and choosing her name - pumpkin :D
what you guys think? :)

Posted - 26/07/2009 : 21:13:39 bit of an update - i held the new snake quite a bit tonight and she's really calm. it's a bit of a shock really as i expected her to be dartin everywhere. very good :D |

Posted - 22/07/2009 : 22:35:00 I know you're supposed to leave new snakes for a week but if I'm honest I've not managed it yet. Maybe with the next one I'll be more restrained |

Posted - 22/07/2009 : 21:13:26 i've had her for just under a week. she's okay. i had to handle her anyway cause she wet the damn substrate and had to get it out from where she was. she's coolbeans.
i've not had any problems with her anyway. |

Posted - 22/07/2009 : 20:58:46 I thought you were supposed to leave them be for a week or so, bar feeding and water changes to let them settle in? |

Posted - 22/07/2009 : 18:34:25 yeah the snakes not THAT big really. probs around the size of strawbs (girlharry's snake).
i held the snake today when i got home and it actually wasn't as squirmy and wriggly as i thought it would be. it hasn't bitten me YET or musked. fingers crossed eh! :) |
