As you know I'm doing the care sheets for this site, but we are having trouble finding stock photos for some of the sub-species.

Does anyone know anyone with any of these:

Mole/Prairie Kingsnakes-(mole kingsnake/prairie kingsnake or a south florida mole kingsnake)

Mexican Kingsnakes

Sonora Mountain Kingsnakes- Arizona mountain kingsnake/Huachuca mountain kingsnake/utah mountain kingsnake/chihuahua mountain kingsnake

Ruthvens Kingsnake

California Mountain Kingsnakes- Saint Helena mountain kingsnake/Sierra mountain kingsnake/coastal mountain kingsnake/san bernardino mountain kingsnake/san diego mountain kingsnake/san pedro mountain kingsnake/todos santos island kingsnake

Bit hard to find pictures of those ones and I bet hardly anybody has them as pets

Actually- I nearly asked on your post about shedding if I could nick the top picture. I stopped myself though because I thought people would get sick of me asking for pictures all the time.

Thanks! I use it for the shedding section on the common kingsnake care sheet

Thank you so much for letting us use your photograph - I have added it to the main care sheet page with a credit to you in the Alt text:
http://www.thekingsnake.co.uk/king_snake_care_sheet.htm

and also on the Ruthven's Care Sheet Page with alt text plus a full credit:
http://www.thekingsnake.co.uk/Ruthven%27s_king_snakes_care_sheet.htm

We have been struggling to get hold of a few photos for the care sheets, so it's very much appreciated that you have let us use your photographs.

Thanks again!

You can use this photo of my male ruthven's king if you want to. I can't locate the original larger one but feel free to use this one w/ credit to me.
Thanks.

Hi Crimson King - Yeah that would be great - We're struggling to get pics of many as they aren't as easy to get hold of in the UK yet. You've got some really great looking Kings, do you keep any other snakes or just kings, I'm guessing you're a breeder with that many? I'll let you know which ones we need for the care sheets thanks!

Hi. I keep all of those and have photos as well. Let me know which species and ssp. you still need.

She knows they eat rabbits. She's not impressed but she loves the BCCs I have so she'll put up with it
Kazerella Posted - 30/10/2008 : 17:42:03
Is she mad?

Tell her they eat rabbits when they are big, better to make do with a nice king that won't grow bigger than a draft excluder
magneticblue Posted - 30/10/2008 : 17:36:55
I'd happily have them but the wife wants me to get another BCC. Who am I to argue?
Kazerella Posted - 30/10/2008 : 17:32:30
Our I can let you buy them all and I'll just pop to yours to take pictures

It's been really hard to find king pictures for some reason. So many sub-species, so little room at our house

Get rid of the bed and put the matress on top of some vivs. I'm sure you could squeeze at least four underneath

Second thoughts, you could stack them and have 8 or 12, you would just need a ladder to climb up to bed every night
