Posted - 16/05/2012 : 05:51:29 It has been forever since I last posted pictures of Kali and I can't remember which ones I had posted before, so I am just going to do a little bit of a progression from wee one to where she is now. :) Kali is a Sinaloan Milk snake about two years old. She was born with a stubbed tail but it doesn't affect her negatively. She simply uses the rest of her body to cling on, instead of her tail. ;)
Just a wee baby, with a stubby tail.

Kali has always been a calm Milk. I honestly think she likes being held.

Here's my poor girl in the blue. Shedding is no prob, despite the tail.

Playing around in the grass after her shed.

I love her brilliant red coloring right after a shed.

She is SO photogenic and seems to love getting her pic taken.

Deciding to check her email. :D

This is my absolute favorite pic of her. She tied herself in a knot around my fingers and proceeded to stay there and pose for me.

We're finally starting to get some size!

Peekaboo!

"Thanks for lookin' at my pics!" ;)

Posted - 31/05/2012 : 19:02:44 Exactly. ;) It doesn't hurt her to not have it and it adds character, lol. All of her markings are pretty complete except for a couple that don't go all the way around. If I'm not mistaken, she came from a vanishing pattern parent. Thanks for the compliments everyone! :) |

Posted - 29/05/2012 : 19:05:30 :D Yeah, she's a character. And she loves playing in the grass. Like you said, though, not much worry of losing her in there. ;) |

Posted - 29/05/2012 : 18:19:19 That second last picture is great. Not much chance of losing her in the grass anyway lol. |

Posted - 28/05/2012 : 02:50:42 :D Good point, I never thought of it like that, lol! My breeder friend (the one I bought her from) knows me all too well. I have a soft spot for "problem" animals. Not that she is a problem, she's been super sweet and friendly since I brought her home. I definitely have no plans to breed her (don't even think it's possible without her tail) but she makes a wonderful companion. My 6 year old nephew adores her and handles her frequently. :) |
