you will need:-
- sprit level
- wood varnish
- paint brush
- strong glue
- screws (2")
- saw
- tape measure
- pencil
- rule
- drill
- silcone sealant
- sand paper
- clamps
- wood (i brought 1 piece of timber 1150mm x 200mm x 18mm 2x cheap wooden broom handles and this has made 2 identical shelves)
first cut all your wood to size and mark were you want the legs to go.
drill holes through the center of the legs and on the shelf its self. fix the legs using the screws (i also used glue just to reduce twisting) allow to dry. sand down any rough edges.
and varnish 3-4 times. allow to fully dry for a few days before putting in the vivarium.
i chose to use this method rather than a fixed shelf for ease of cleaning.
