Posted - 05/10/2009 : 19:53:04 hi, my gray banded king snake has been ready to shed for a few days now. shes my first snake and has not shed with me yet. i was cleaning out my birds tonight and looked at her and she was roaming around her tank. i carried on with my birds and just happened to look at her again and she has shed in one go, i didnt think it would be that quick it musnt of been more than a couple of minutes and i missed it. ah well maybe next time.

My boas have become specialists now though as they don't even bother to come out of their hides any more. They somehow manage to scrunch it all up, I'll have to post a pic next time one of them sheds to show what I mean |
