Posted - 18/09/2009 : 09:55:24 hi,
these are some pics of my set up for a king snake. its a large exo terra faunarium with a heat mat under one end controlled by a habistat 300w stat. its got a digital thermometer to monitor the temps. the trouble is im struggling to get past 30oc even though the stat light is on a lot. im going to get some polystyrene today and see if that helps. anyway heres some pics of my set up which some of you may already seen on corn snake forum.
thanks mark

Posted - 18/09/2009 : 18:11:39 30C is just fine anyway so I wouldn't worry about that to be honest. Looks like a good setup you've got there, should be a nice happy king |

Posted - 18/09/2009 : 10:19:12 no its in the right place i would say mark.
can i ask why your tryin to get passed 30c? 30c is an ideal temp go any warmer and you got problems because a faun doesnt have much of a heat change from hot end to cold so if any hotter your cold end would be around 29c which is too hot
