Tehya has been "shedding" for well over a week now, it's probably closer to two weeks, she's still dull and every morning I inspect her and her surroundings and there's still no skin, her eyes have never clouded over either is this the sign of a problem?

Posted - 16/08/2009 : 21:05:04 Relax about the shedding, your snake will do it in its own time and the humidity is definitley high enough. As for eating, Sylar is going through a similar phase, he hasn't eaten for 23 days and I will be trying him again tomorrow |

Posted - 12/08/2009 : 21:03:12 I have checked humidity again and it's still reading between 60-65% humidity and that is with just her bowl of water and a practically dried up moss hide in there. She has a piece of cork bark which is vertical in her faunarium that she can rub against, I daren't add more moist moss to her hide because the humidity will go higher still.
I am also hoping that she's hungry tonight, as today will be the 29th day that she hasn't eaten if she leaves her pinky again |

Posted - 12/08/2009 : 17:52:18 if she's struggling you could always add a damp hide for her to use if she wants to, also is there anything in her viv for her to actually rub against to help remove the shedding layer? |

Posted - 11/08/2009 : 17:49:18 I wouldn't go any higher than that. If it gets too humid you could be risking a R.I (respiratory infection).
Just be patient- I'm sure he'll shed soon |

Posted - 11/08/2009 : 14:03:43 Humidity is 65% at present, do I need even more? I can put fresh damp moss in the moss hide if that makes things better? |
