Posted - 06/08/2009 : 19:15:24 Hi guys Ok. I've had a hunch my variable king was coming into a shed (the first since I've had him). I way away for about 3 days and when I cam back sure enough he was very dull and his eyes were milky. Yesterday his eyes went clearer again and some colour has come back....but today still no shed !?? - I've had a good look around the viv and theres no skin. Is this normal?
Many thanks Mat |

Posted - 06/08/2009 : 21:17:04 Hi Mat,
I was much the same when I got my first snake. All I read in books is that they go dull and there eyes go blue. They never mention that they appear to go to their normal color and eye color. Depending on age, From a hatchling being 3 days of being back to normal to an adult a week, He will shed. It's good to worry :)
