About a week ago I noticed blackjack's eyes were turning blue (her first shed with me, I couldn't wait)
I've been away for three days on a duke of Edinburgh expedition (48 km over the mourne mountains very difficult )
Anyway I just got back yesterday and my mum was keeping an eye on her and she said that her eyes were still blue and she was very inactive I expected this.
However when i went up to check yesterday his eyes were transparent but no skin was found.
I have heard of this before and I was wondering how long it takes for shedding to start after the eyes turn back to normal??

Good to hear. Remember that skins stretch when they shed so you will need to knock off around 10% to get its true length |

well nothing to worry about
that night he/she shed fine 
As soon as I left the room to go out for a while my mum checked up on her/him and it had shed
I measured it and its 3.9ft
bigger than i thought!!

mine usaly shed 3-4 days later but sometimes it can be a week. |

It can be anything from a day to a week after going clear - usually only a couple of days but don't panic if its longer. Hope this puts your mind at rest a bit. |
