Posted - 28/06/2009 : 16:23:57 About a week ago I noticed blackjack's eyes were turning blue (her first shed with me, I couldn't wait)
I've been away for three days on a duke of Edinburgh expedition (48 km over the mourne mountains very difficult)
Anyway I just got back yesterday and my mum was keeping an eye on her and she said that her eyes were still blue and she was very inactive I expected this.
However when i went up to check yesterday his eyes were transparent but no skin was found.
I have heard of this before and I was wondering how long it takes for shedding to start after the eyes turn back to normal??

Posted - 28/06/2009 : 17:09:01 It can be anything from a day to a week after going clear - usually only a couple of days but don't panic if its longer. Hope this puts your mind at rest a bit. |
