hi change water in lucifer tank and he felt really cold stat set at 31 he sits on mat, but sum times mat not on and it doesnt seem warm to me, any ideas |

ok ill try that already got dig themometer, ill keep eye on temp, see what happen |

the mat wont really feel warm to you as your body temp is higher than the mat,take no notice of the numbers on the stat you need to get a digi thermometer if you dont have one already as the dial ones are hopless.The mat will stay off for a bit then kick back in when the temp drops.You could try thinning the substrate out a bit over the mat. |
