Posted - 31/03/2009 : 09:54:52 The Baron has been in bluee for a few days now and he isn't bing his usual exploratory and agressive self (i mean aggy inside the viv, not outside), he just seems to be moping under his log... is this normal behaviour? Its just that with my corn I didnt notice any difference in his behaviour during shed time... |

I know, some have suggested mites but i have checked him and gone through the viv and found nothing,so i reckon he's having a massive growth spurt because he's been eating so well. |

Posted - 01/04/2009 : 18:54:15 Yeah mate its normal, Snoop is the same when its time for him to shed, also I wouldnt waste a mouse on him when he is blue or when he comes out of the blue phase to be honest, wait till he is completely shed before feeding him |

Posted - 31/03/2009 : 11:44:33 I've decided not to feed him until its over... He was due a feed yesterday he just doesnt seem to be in the mood for anything so I thought I'd save it as a reward... |

Posted - 31/03/2009 : 10:31:14 Strawbs is shedding at the moment and she's very subdued. she hasn't had a nose around her tank in a whie which is odd for her. I think it's natural though. I'm sure someone told me that many snakes like to keep themselves to themselves during shedding as their eyesight worsens. Would make sense. Is the baron eating? Strawbs is due her feed tonight but she's about to shed at any moment, not sure if i should bother offering her munchies or not. |
