Since moving Lenny into a new viv I bought some moss for when he is shedding (never had a problem in little viv with kitchen roll but thought a big one might need a bit of help with humidity) and he shed perfectly as usual, but should I take the moss out when he's not shedding? He spends most of his time under it now but I put the probe where he is and humidity is 81% (rest of viv is normally 40-50%) is this okay for him to be in all the time or shall I take it out? Becky

Awesome thanks, he's gone back to his cardboard box now

I'd take it out after he's shed. Normal room humidity is fine plus the water dish will prevent the air getting too dry. By all means put it back in when he goes into blue again. If the humidity is constantly in the high range there is the possibility of respiratory infections (RI).
