Posted - 29/08/2012 : 13:58:29 Hi
Got our first Cali King... he's 12-14 inches (roughly how many weeks old is he?)
Wanted to know if anyone lives around this area who would be willing to pop over and check set up, the snake and help with handling.
We got him Monday, will feed on Sunday so will handle for the first time a week today. Just a bit nervous as other snakes I've handled were calm and he is like lightning.
I know there a taming period but never expected him to be this quick!

Posted - 30/08/2012 : 07:16:15 The speed if him will gradually slow down. Difficult to say how old he is, most 2012 hatches can be born anywhere from late May to now. So very difficult to tell. Probably 6-8 weeks or so of I was to hazard a guess.
Unfortunetly I'm not close to you, not even the same country.
Posting pictures of the set-up and what not will allow to us to help though :)
