Got my first and second snake bites tonight and not surprisingly they came from a kingsnake, my new mbk to be exact. For some reason when I went in to change his water tonight and he came flying out and bit me on the thumb. I thought well that's first bite out of the way then I decided just to pick him up again so he doesn't think he can get away with it. He coiled all round my hand and I thought he was settled then he bit me again, and didn't let go this time. So I was shouting to my wife "get the camera" lol
Pics didn't come out great but sure you can see it pulling in skin in the pic below:-

Heh,heh he's a true king.
Best getting it over and done with while he's small,then you can adjust to his bite strength as he gets bigger! |
