Hiya,
I'm getting my new MBK hatchling at the end of the month, I know she'll be stressed and not too happy when she gets here, she's coming all the way up from Exeter.

How long do you think she'll take to get herself all settled once I get her? Her home will be all ready for her. She'll be left alone for a full week with only me changing her water & spot cleaning.

How are MBK's as hatchlings, are they skitish, bitey, musking etc? I've been told she's quite a calm little snake and never bitten with the breeder or the shop I bought her from. They've gave me all her feeding records and also they're posting them as well & I've asked the couriers to keep records of feeds they give her.

The 2 snakes I have settled in great - my corn has never hissed, musked, bitten, etc and my hoggie had only musked on my twice since I've had her.

Thanks

Got an email the other day from the courier, Wild World Reptiles - they are looking after my little MBK until they do their Scotland delivery run, telling me she's taken a feed with no problems at all and that she's calm, showing no signs of stress at all and not bothered with anything lol

Just got all the feeding/shedding records for my MBK through the post from reptile shop & spoke to the courier who's looking after her and I was really impressed, he really put my mind at ease knowing my little MBK is in good hands until she's delivered to me.

I expect she will take the same kinda time you would expect any hatchy to settle in
