Had my king snake for over 2 months and she still ain't fed. I am getting really concerned. Should I be worried. Same goes to one of my hog nose and the hog seems to be loosin weight where as the king doesn't.
Temps are all correct and I even left them for 2 full weeks without touching whatsoever.

I've no idea bout the Hog though as I haven't yet had the pleasure of keeping one, but I'd try putting it and the food item in a small tub for a while as well. |

Posted - 27/12/2010 : 16:15:59 Well, The King has shown absolutly no interest so i have just been rubbing the pinkie in its face. The king has lost no weight were as the hognose seems to be losing weight. the hog wrapped its mouth round it once but then spat it out.
I have left the pinkies in the fauns over night. Very confusing

I know from my own experience that it took nearly 10 weeks to get my Mexican Milk feeding when I first got him. It's also the time of year when the snakes are programmed not to eat.
Just out of interest, what feeding methods have you tried? Has the snake shown any interest at all? |
