Posted - 17/11/2010 : 18:38:07 I have seen that DazB posted a viv he built, the quality looks good. I would like to build sometime similar as a project. i was just wondering if anyone knew where he got all the materials? I am guessing from B and Q. it is quite a drive for me and wanted to be sure first. thanks a lot. |

Posted - 05/12/2010 : 20:12:24 I've built most of my vivs and got all of the wood from B&Q. My best tip is to make sure you know the measurements of each piece you need before you go and get them to cut it for you. They are supposed to do 6 cuts for free and then charge 50p per cut after that but normally they don't bother charging at all |

Posted - 18/11/2010 : 23:07:03 you can use any old piece of furniture from office cupboards, bedroom dressers, kitchen units. I used an old wordrobe for mine.

Posted - 17/11/2010 : 18:55:48 Have no idea where DazB got his material, but you should be able to source materials from most good timber suppliers, B and Q, homebase and the likes, best just to have a look locally see what local wood suppliers are in your area. |
