Is it me or are they terrible at it? My MBK is in the middle of a climbing phase at the moment and every so often I hear a thud as he falls from a branch. My Milk snake is the same, whereas both my Corns are fantastic climbers!

My viv has a rectangular vent on one side near the top (2' up) my MBK has gone up the face of the viv, over the top of the vent and down the other side without falling off! Bearing in mind the vent sticks out about 1/4" that's pretty durn good climbing

My Cali King climbs up the sides of his viv and when he reaches the top, falls over like a tree being felled! I probly shouldn't laugh but it is quite funny.

Quite the opposite. Mine could give spider man a run for his money

Hmmmm!
Im not sure bout this one, but i do find out of all my guys only the Mountain Kings and my Red Milks are the only ones who clinb?? The others seem content to stay on the ground.
Having said that my Royals suck at clinbing but my Carpet loves to, and is awesome at it...Could just be different snakes??
