Posted - 01/08/2010 : 14:23:44 Hi guys, I am moving and this isn't a down the road move it is a fairly epic one. I was going to wrap and box the viv set up; I may take the light out. I am just concerned about how is best to move the beasty himself. I plan on leaving in the next few weeks. Initially I will have to travel by boat and then by van. I was thinking about a RUB and a keeping the digital thermometer in it and keeping him with me at all times. Trouble is I am worried that he will get too cold, is there any thing you can buy to portibly heat a rub other than my idea of a little hot water bottle!! |

Posted - 01/08/2010 : 15:57:36 i used pocket hand warmers in my bag when i was collecting my snakes, the snakes were in plastic boxes and the warmers just sat at the side or below the plastic box. They wont keep the temps at the same as a heatmat, but does give them some heat so it doesnt get too cold. Just have a few spares as im not really sure how long they last, i think i had to replace mine every 3 hours. |
