okay, so i've had pepe my mbk since may 6th and he's not eaten at all with me yet. he's a good size so i'm not particularly worried about him losing weight, but he just won't eat. really driving my mad lol.
any ideas how to get him eating?
i'm guessing he might have the horn and isn't interested due to the time of the year but i want the bugger to eat now :( |

Good stuff Darren. Pleased he's eating again. I'm surprised a MBK wouldn't eat for you. Now he's started he won't stop :)
You'd better watch your finger's at feeding time now ;) My wee MBK got me last week, started swallowing my finger. He was up to the knuckle by the time I managed to get him off :) |

Well would you believe it....he ate last saturday for Matt, if he can eat for him, why wont he eat for me, silly boy!!

you're lucky! he's eaten once since you've had him, mine hasn't at all :(
my snake isn't scared of the snakes, he seems to want to eat it. he pushes it around the viv and everything, just doesn't bit onto it or anything :\ pain in the bum! |

I have pueblan milk snake that has only eaten once since i had him on 15th April, he is also driving me mad, he looks scared stiff of a mouse, he see's it & scarpers. I have asked a friend to take him for a while & see if he can get him to eat.

just weight pepe - hes around 835g. does this sound like a good weight for a 3 year old (ish) mbk? i'm gonna weigh him every week or so from now. |

Im baby sitting a Hognose thats not.
Not quite the same but still....
He's a good size so i wouldn't worry just yet. My Female Royal hashad 1 feed in the last 6 weeks. Just keep an eye on the weights |

okay so i got pepe on 6th may and he still hasn't eaten anything.
i've tried mice of different sizes, a small weaner rat and a chick. totally running out of ideas now.
tonight i put a mouse in after not trying for a couple of weeks - he seemed kinda interested in it, pushing it around the viv with his face but still no eating :( i'm going to leave the mouse in the viv overnight and see how it goes.
anyone else still having issues with their male snakes not eating?? :( |
