Posted - 25/02/2010 : 10:14:52 Hello again! sorry to ask so many questions but i am a new snake owner! I have recently heard my snake sneezing or weezing. i took her to the vet and he said she was healthy and to make it a little hotter in the tank just in case, i went and got a second opinion from the guy i bought her from(he raises snakes and owns his pet store where i bought her) and he said she seems fine too! 2 days after i still hear her sneezing/weezing! any thoughts? |

Posted - 08/04/2010 : 01:46:22 I boosted the heat the last few weeks, and i dont hear anymore sneezing which is good! the only time i hear it sometimes is after she has a drink which could just be her getting water out of her nose!!! |

Posted - 20/03/2010 : 18:35:58 I suppose if the vet says all is OK then there's not much else you can do. As you have said there is nothing else wrong so no point worrying. Just keep an eye on her to see if anything changes |

Posted - 16/03/2010 : 22:03:53 Aspen shouldn't be too dusty. You should leave it for a while after puting it in for the dust to settle but kings do well on Aspen. If you still think it may be related to Aspen then you could try newspaper or kitchen roll for a while and see if it makes a difference |

Posted - 16/03/2010 : 14:57:39 Sneezing seems to be going away slowly, a few here and there but it sounds dry, i use aspen shavings, think it might be too dusty for her? |

Posted - 25/02/2010 : 19:05:11 Are you sure he's not hissing a bit. My king does it when he's really agitated, so maybe the move to a new home has made him a bit hissy? He should calm down eventually, but do continue to keep an eye on him in case it is a R.I (respiratory infection). |
