Posted - 13/01/2010 : 15:06:53 I've had my 09 mbk for around 2 months now, she was a bit nippy at first but she's a good girl now, only get a tail rattle when she's grumpy and never musked. A bite from a baby doesn't hurt anyway, you barely even feel it. ;)

Posted - 13/01/2010 : 11:57:07 I have two baby MBKs. Very docile, other than the male likes to chew my fingers every so often and the female rattles her tail if she thinks I'm after her food. They're a joy.

Posted - 13/01/2010 : 11:37:25 Both my adults have their moments. They are tame, but sometimes unpredidctable. Like Headlow says you need to know when to leave them be.
I wouldn't recommend a mexi black if you are nervous of snakes. They are fast at striking |

Posted - 13/01/2010 : 10:12:38 With patience and lots of gentle handling they can be calmed down a lot. I've had mine about 6 months now, and in general he is quite tame. At times, though, he can be a bit viv defensive, and I have to know when to let him be |
