Posted - 01/06/2009 : 22:18:07 After visiting Chester zoo last Tuesday I've finally got around to sorting through the 257 photos I took and picked out my best ones to share with you. I'll try to remember what the animals actually are but there are a few where I'll get stuck
Elephants
Condor
Baby Komodo dragon
Adult Komodo dragons
Duck
Giraffe
Is this a pacman Lewy?

Yes, it's a fantasy horned frog/ pacman
Great pics. Me and Lewy went last Bank Holiday so when he finally gets his pictures up we can all vote who got the best shots
Great Photos as usual mart!
I'll have to get my photos sorted of Chester Zoo and stick em up, not to vote on who has the best though.
It is a Horned frog but not a fantasy - Fantasy horned frogs are a hybrid between this one and a cranwells horned frog.
This one is a Ceratophrys cornuta (just referred to as Cornuta by hobbyists) They won't let them export them to the pet trade if I remember right - so it was good to see one in Chester
I tried to get the same photo but my lens just wouldn't let me in the low light. just got a new f1.8 wish I had of has it then.
Soz smart arse- but it did say it was a Fantasy on the tank at Chester. Are you saying the zoologists got it wrong? |
