hey, im new here and have a question about feeding kingsnakes. last wednesday i caught a wild pairie kingsnake. its a baby, about 13 inches long or so, and i feed her a small cricket that friday. i went to feed her yesterday and she wouldn't eat. i tried again today and she wouldn't eat.any help would be preciatied. also i lice in south caroliner if thats any help or concelation.thnx

try feeding it a pinkie as well.. dont know much about prarie kingsnakes but i would have thought that they would eat rodents rather than insects...

If its a wild caught snake then it may be more than a bit stressed at now being in an enclosure. Being stressed may be making it feel insecure and therefore feeding will be the last thing it wants to do. Try leaving it for another week before you try feeding it again and see if that helps.
