Heys, I'm Sarah. Proud owner of a Mexican Black King (not a cali as prev posted in my freaked out thread) called Liquorice. She's my little miracle.

When I first bought her I paid £30 from a private seller. I had no idea about snake keeping so didn't know what I was looking at. Turned out they sold her on the cheap because she had the cold and was in a really bad way with it. I took her to the vets and got some medicine for her and the vet said she was in such a bad way I'd be very lucky if she pulled through. Against all odds she did just that and was a dream to look after for a newbie snake keeper.

She managed to escape (my granda left her viv open by accident) 15 months ago and hasn't been seen since. She was found 2 days ago underneath the hearth in the living room after my granda spotted a bit of shed skin peeking out.

She's a bit weak and very thin but wow she's amazed the family... she sure has spirit. Hoping that she gets back on track soon. Was devasted when I thought I'd lost her for good.

So that's me n Liquorice saying Hi, nice to meet you!!!

Well I'm going to let her settle down a bit and get back to normality before I transport her down south. Think it would be way too stressful for her atm. I'm thinking she should relax for at least 4 weeks, not sure

sounds good,a bit of peace and quite first, will be good to be reunited, better off down south than up north
