Posted - 26/04/2012 : 18:17:16 Just been on corn snake site forum and found out that the snake I have is actually an albino california king snake!

how shocked am I?!
He was given to me by my boss's son who didn't want him anymore (surprise surprise) and, although he was a bit snappy at first, we have become the best of friends
Any advice from other cali owners would be greatly received now after discovering this revelation.
He has rat pups once a week, Kept in a moderate sized viv with all usual bits and pieces a snake needs. Is there any differences between cali's and corns I need to know about. Any advice would be welcome!
Many thanks fellow snake lovers

Posted - 30/04/2012 : 13:59:23 deadmansfinger - he is beautiful. Think mine was totally underfed though as he's supposed to be 3 yrs old and it still on rat pups! Already invested in some fuzzies but need to get the rat pups finished with before I start him on them. Will try to get some better pics on when i get a better camera lol :-) |
