hi there i have got a cali king snake aprox 4 years old got it yesterday i tried to get the snake out today but shakes it tail apparently its tame just wondering if you have any tips on getting her out with out her shaking her tail i was able to get her out yesterday with very little problems for her side mainly me being nervous about getting struck at |

Hey there, Scarpetta did this with us when she was first settling in, it's their visual defensive when they are unsure or don't want bothered. leave her a little bit longer and she'll soon settle in she just has to get used to your scents |

cbpete666 i did tell you that large mice would prob be to big for her lol, well if its smaller ones she needs then u will have to wait till i get paid tuesday then ill buy her some! |

they told me she was eating large mice every week but i think a large mouse might be to big for her atm as she seems to avoid the mouse like she is scared |

Try not to worry, leave it till monday night and try slightly smaller prey till she gets going again. What did they say she was eating when you bought her?..Oh, and well done on getting her whole set up, should make her feel right at home,which is always good. |

at the moment i tried to feed it this morning sat ans the snake not interested so i'm guessing she's off her food due to the move |

hi the vivarium she's in is the one she had i got the whole set up with her managed to get her out with out any problems |

You may want to let your snake settle into its new surroundings for a week or so without trying to get it out again. It will be nervous in new surroundings so feels threatened, hence the tail shaking. If you are really nervous bout getting it out next time, try letting it come out to you?? |

baring in mind i have to live with this snake too and i have a phobia of snakes lmfao, it lives in our bedroom and took me ages to get to sleep last night, but im sure ill get used to it being there, i have stroked JO-JO but i just clamed up as she started to move towards me lol. |
